One of the greatest musicals ever. I can't stop listening to the soundtrack. Michael McDonald's heartfelt song "Eyes Of A Child"... shows how easy it is to make a song sound heartfelt and really be full of weird stuff, and no one will notice because it sounds just like any other stupid ballad Disney or Dreamworks puts out to give their films more 'resonance.'

The sentiment is echoed with the rest of the songs in the film - generic beats and tunes can be changed into perverted freakish songs easily, and still sound peppy and pleasant for kids.

I haven't been totally stunned by a film in a long time, but there were at least three points where my jaw dropped for a good length of time before I realized how funny it was.

Go see this. It's goddamn hilarious.
